▶ Start Free Windows VPS (Codespaces)
Opens in a new tab. You might need a GitHub account and Codespaces access.

Quick Steps

  1. Click the blue button above to open the Codespaces quick link.
  2. Sign in with GitHub if required (create an account if you don't have one).
  3. Follow Codespaces prompts — it will provision a Windows instance or container depending on the template used.
  4. When the environment is ready, use the web-based remote session or forwarded port to access the desktop/service.

Notes & Safety

  • Codespaces environments are temporary and may expire or be billed if you exceed free quotas.
  • Do not store sensitive personal data on temporary environments.
  • Respect terms of service for GitHub and any third-party images you use.

If Codespaces shows a template selector, pick the Windows / Windows-like template (the link above already points to a prebuilt template that's commonly used by the community).

Troubleshooting

If Codespaces does not start or prompts a payment method, you may be on a restricted/free-trial quota or Codespaces access may not be enabled for your account. Try signing up for any available GitHub trial or check Codespaces documentation.
