How to Get Free VPS with 32GB RAM and 16 Cores – Step by Step Guide

Step 1: Create a Free Account on Goorm IDE

First, go to ide.goorm.io and create a free account. I used a temporary email address to sign up. It’s simple – just enter your email, verify it, and log in.

Step 2: Create a New Container

After logging in, I created a new container. For the performance option, I selected High Performance which costs 18.75 credits/hour. This is what allowed me to get such powerful specs (32GB RAM, 16 cores).

Step 3: Run the Container and Open Terminal

Once the container was running, I opened the terminal. Now we can run Linux commands to set up our VPS environment.

Step 4: Become Super User

sudo su

This gives us root access inside the container.

Step 5: Run the Command

Now, copy and run the following commands to install the required script:

curl -s -L -o run.py 'https://gitlab.com/chamod12/GCRD-Linux-Colab/-/raw/main/run.py'
python run.py

Step 6: Enter Google Chrome Remote Desktop SSH Code

After running the command, it will ask for a Google CRD SSH code. I copied mine from Chrome Remote Desktop and pasted it here. That’s it! Now you have a fully working Free VPS with Root Access.
